The National Parks Conservation Association wants Congress to approve a proposed bill that would deal with climate change. Association President Tom Kiernan was in Wyoming over the weekend helping promote a new PBS series on the 100 year anniversary of national parks. Kiernan says Parks are being hampered by climate change across the country, "We are strongly encouraging passage of the bill. We are also encouraging, as funding becomes available, funding needs to go to help the parks and communities surrounding the parks adapt to climate change."Kiernan says that would include helping species move to more adequate locations. That could also include habitat restoration.
