Craig Campbell is an American country music singer who has released two major albums that produced five singles on the Hot Country Songs chart. Campbell’s respect for his fans and live audiences is evident on his latest EP, Outta My Head, a five-song set that solidifies Campbell’s standing as country music’s hippest neo-traditionalist, a niche he’d already begun to carve out with his critically-acclaimed, self-titled 2011 debut album. Prior to landing his record deal, Campbell spent time on the road playing keyboards in bands for Tracy Byrd and Luke Bryan, gigs that inspired him to pursue his solo career.
The Black Lillies
The songs and sounds that would form the nexus of The Black Lillies were conceived over the course of a year, in the cab of front man Cruz Contreras’ stone delivery truck, on the highways of East Tennessee. Their music, often rustic and on the borders of other genre territory (rock, bluegrass, blues, folk) has the lyrical lull of what makes country well, country: heartbreak, death, liquor, and a dose of Southern charm and backwoods wrangle. It’s a perfect balance between tears and toe tappin’ – a perfect way to kick off the Teton County Fair’s annual shindig!
