Since before Aristotle, humanity has been fascinated, and frustrated, by the theater. The purpose of theater in society has been widely, and often wildly, contested throughout the ages. Instead of trying to define what the purpose of theater in society is, we should be focusing on giving each member of society the tools necessary for them, as individuals, to make meaning from the plays they attend. Join DannyLee as he discusses the various theatrical elements and demonstrates how these elements can be used by individuals to formulate their own defendable meanings from the plays they attend.
