Escapee Captured PORTSMOUTH, OH (WOUB) - An escapee was captured yesterday after officials say he fled from his trial in Scioto County.

38 year old Joey Westbrook of Columbus left Scioto County Common Pleas Court on September 2 after the jury was chosen in his drug trafficking trial.

Westbrook's trial continued after his disappearance - and the jury found him guilty.

Officers were tipped to Westbrook's whereabouts and found him at an apartment complex in Huntington, West Virginia.
