(WOUB) - An Ohio woman has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $52,000 from the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Charleston says 51-year-old Chesapeake, Ohio resident Brenda Kay Newton faces up to 10 years in federal prison and a fine as much as $250,000.

She's due to be sentenced December 6.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Newton, who's also known as Brenda Kay Mills, entered the guilty plea Monday.
