College at Work program
Retired Sergeant Major Michael Belcher of the Ohio National Guard played a big role in getting College at Work off the ground.
It's for Guard personnel who want to turn their military experience into a college degree, and it's operated mostly over the Internet.
College at Work is part of the Ohio National Guard Distance Learning Network.
Participants must earn at least 15 credit hours from Hocking College.

The College at Work program at Hocking College started in 2001, but it took a few years for students to get on board. Retired Sergeant Major Michael Belcher of the Ohio National Guard played a big role in getting College at Work off the ground.
