Slider Accused of Bank Robbery WASHINGTON CO., OH (WOUB) - Investigators say a Little Hocking man has admitted to robbing a bank in Coolville in July.

Patrick Slider was arrested after being on the run for more than a month and is now back in jail without bond in Washington County.

He was brought back from Michigan.

The Hocking Valley Bank was robbed four hours after a pair of pipe-bomb-like devices were found at the nearby Guysville and Stewart post offices.

Investigators believe Slider planted the pipe bombs as a diversionary tactic - so he could rob the bank.

Officials say Slider has admitted to faking his death in July in an effort to avoid going to trial on drug trafficking charges. © Copyright 2009, WOUB
