City water at Salt Fork
That's because the State Controlling Board has just approved nearly $870,000 for the completion of a water line expansion project.
The project includes the construction of five and a half miles of water lines throughout the park.
Once finished, the entire park will receive drinking water from a new supply line that's currently being extended to the park entrance by Guernsey County.

Visitors to Salt Fork State Park next summer will get a taste of "city water" each time they take a drink out of a fountain.
That's because the State Controlling Board has just approved nearly $870,000 for the completion of a water line expansion project.
