Program for new businesses
(WOUB) - Despite passion, drive and an abundance of good ideas, half of all new business owners fail within the first few years.

That's often because they lack the experience and tools required for starting and running a business.

Ohio University now has a program to help entrepreneurs learn to manage and grow successful businesses.

It's called Fast-Trac.

Paul Kinghorn is with the Voinovich School at OU.

Kinghorn says Fast-Trac provides assistance by evaluating a business and suggesting changes to improve performance.

The program - which cost 150 dollars - will be offered from September 18th through December 4th at Washington State Community College in Marietta.
