Woman in Zanesville Cop Case
(2008-08-13)
(WOUB) - A Roseville woman has been sentenced to five months in prison for lying to F-B-I Agents investigating a Zanesville Police officer.

27-year old Amanda Novaria was sentenced Wednesday in federal court in Columbus.

Investigators say Novaria lied to them during an investigation of Zanesville Police Officer Donald Peterson.

Charges were filed against Peterson, his wife and three others - which accused them of being involved in cocaine deals.

Those charges were later dropped.

Novaria will also be on parole for three years once released.
