New Ohio lottery game has big expectations
(WOUB) - Thousands of Ohioans took part in the state's new lottery game, Keno, yesterday.

The Ohio Lottery says the bingo-like lottery game operated smoothly in its first drawings after at least 750 bars, restaurants and liquor stores launched the game.

The AM-VETS Post 53 in Chauncey is one of the establishments in Athens County which will house Keno machines.

Rick Wilson is a trustee at the AM-VETS post.

He says he's expecting Keno to bring in more revenue.

Governor Ted Strickland says he's counting on $292 million in annual revenue from Keno.

He says $73 million of that will be used to help fill a state budget gap.
