Pipe Bomb Clean-up
(WOUB) - Officials are trying to get things back to normal in Guysville and Stewart tonight.

This after two pipe bombs were found this morning at the post offices in the two Athens County towns.

Athens County Public Information Officer Dan Pfeiffer says they're doing their best to get people back into their homes and end the precautionary evacuations of the two areas.

Authorities say they've now been able to disrupt both the pipe bomb in Guysville and the one in Stewart.

There was also a bank robbery today at the Coolville branch of the Hocking Valley Bank, which happened about four hours after the first call came in about the pipe bombs.

Pfeiffer says while there is no evidence to link the robbery to the bombs, officials are investigating a connection.

And while there are currently no suspects for the pipe bombs, F-B-I investigator Joe Swayze says they do have a physical description of the robber.

Officials also say they hope to re-open the closed portion of State Route 329 later on this evening, and the post offices hope to have mail service returned by tomorrow morning.
