Zanesville man in custody for bank robbery

(WOUB) - Authorities have one suspect in custody and another remains at large in connection with the two recent robberies at the Century National Bank in Zanesville.

Columbus police picked up 30-year old Troy Murphy of Zanesville last night after receiving a hit on a license plate and car belonging to one of his relatives.

Police followed the car to a motel and apprehended Murphy on a charge of felony drug possession.

Muskingum County prosecutors issued a warrant this morning charging Murphy with two counts of robbery and two counts of felony theft.

Zanesville Police are still looking for 40-year old G. Michael Lee of Zanesville in connection with the robberies.

He is wanted on a warrant from Muskingum County for two counts of robbery and two counts of felony theft.

Lee is described as a white male 6 feet 3 inches, 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
