OU prof talks about food safety
(WOUB) - The Centers for Disease Control says more than 76 million people will suffer a food borne illness this year in the United States.

How do you not become one of them?

Ohio University's Michelle Morrone says take nothing for granted and use proper preparation methods...

Morrone is director of environmental studies at O-U and the author of a new book that examines the impact of bacteria and viruses on the food supply.

When it came out just a couple weeks ago, the headlines were full of news about e-coli and salmonella outbreaks...

Morrone's book is called "Poisons on Our Plates: The Real Food Safety Problems in the United States."
