Senator Brown supports bill to cut Medicare payments to doctors
(2008-07-11)
(WOUB) - President Bush's advisers are recommending a veto of a bill that would nullify a cut in Medicare payments to
doctors.

It might not matter.

The measure has cleared the House and now the Senate by veto-proof margins, with support that included Ohio U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown.

Some doctors have said they'd quit taking new patients if payments were cut.
