$5m for DHI
(WOUB) - An Athens company apparently will be getting five million dollars from the state.

Diagnostic Hybirds would share the money with Case Western Reserve University's School of Medicine and a company called Apath.

The funding is to further develop a system for viral diagnostics and treatment monitoring...and to market these trials to hospitals and pharmaceutical companies.

Diagnostic Hybrids makes diagnostics tools for laboratories.

The five million would come from the Ohio Biomedical Research Commercialization Program.

It still needs approval by the State Controlling Board.
