Spraying two counties for moths
(WOUB) - The Ohio Department of Agriculture will begin aerial treatments designed to disrupt the mating of the gypsy moth in Gallia and Jackson Counties.

They will cover more than a thousand acres in Jackson County and 260 in Gallipolis.

The process will involve the use of a low flying aircraft just above the tree tops and will begin between Friday and Monday.

All treatments should be completed within three to four days, weather permitting.

The Department of Agriculture says it will use the product Disrupt Two.
