Roads Update

(WOUB) - Many roads around southern Ohio that were closed due to flooding and damage caused by flooding are now open.

Among them --
State Route 217 at Linnville in Lawrence County; State Route 243 in Lawrence County, just east of County Road 36; State Route 378 at Getaway in Lawrence County; and State Route 220 at River Road and south of Waverly in Pike County.

According to an Ohio Department of Transportation news release. water is still present on these roadways and although the routes are passable, motorists should still be careful when crossing through any standing water.

One road remains closed: State Route 650 near its junction with State Route 522.
