Route 50 Reopens
(WOUB) - U.S. Route 50 in Ross County is now open after an overturned semi-tanker carrying ammonia nitrate forced it to close.

The Ohio State Patrols says Route 50 near Londonderry reopened around 3-30 Monday afternoon.

The patrol says 50-year old Murl Buckingham of Forest in Northwest Ohio lost control of the truck.

The tanker did leak a small amount of ammonia nitrate, but the patrol says it wasn't enough of a health risk to evacuate the area.

Buckingham's been charged with failure to control a vehicle.
