Area housing projects get state funding
(WOUB) - The Ohio Housing Finance Agency Board has approved funding for four housing projects in our region.

The Ironton and Lawrence County Area Community Action Organization will get a $750,000 loan to construct eight homes in South Point.

The Athens Metropolitan Housing Authority will get a 700 thousand dollar loan to rehabilitate 18 homes in Athens County.

Housing Services Alliance, Incorporated will get a nearly 410 thousand dollar loan for a senior housing community in Ross County.

And Habitat for Humanity in Fairfield and Hocking counties will get a a loan worth about 220 thousand dollars to construct four single-family homes.

Three of the homes will go up in Lancaster, and one in Falls Township in Hocking County.
