State rep announces funds for SE Ohio

(WOUB) - State Representative Jennifer Garrison announced today that more than $2.8 million of the current two-year Capital Appropriations Budget bill will go towards funding projects in her Southeast Ohio district.

Overall, the budget bill will provide approximately $120 million in funding for community and infrastructure projects across the state.

Garrison announced money for for thirteen different projects in her 93rd district including $1 million used to fund The Wilds as well as $50,000 for restoring the Cambridge Little League Challenger Field.

More half a million dollars is headed to Washington Sate Community College for basic renovations and for the Health Science Education Facility.

In Marietta, the armory is slated to receive $200, 000 and the Colony Theater renovation is getting a quarter of a million dollars in funding.
