State rep bringing tax dollars back to southeastern Ohio
(WOUB) - State Representative Jimmy Stewart wants everyone to know he's trying to bring some tax dollars back to his Southeast Ohio District.

Stewart has just announced the introduction of the capital budget bill....a measure that will provide approximately $120 million in funding for community and infrastructure projects across the state.

The Republican from Albany says $475,000 of that is for local projects.

This includes: $100,000 for Salisbury Township for park improvements; $75,000 for the Meigs Local Enrichment Project -- multipurpose complex; and $65,000 for the Village of Jacksonville...for park improvements.

There are others, too -- for the Village of Buchtel, the Village of Albany, Nelsonville, the Village of Stockport and the Village of Chesterhill.
