Attorney in vehicular homicide case files seven motions, delays trial
(WOUB) - It will be several weeks before a judge will rule on motions filed in the case of a Perry County woman charged with two counts each of aggravated vehicular homicide and vehicular assault.

The jury trial of Lorraine Mattox was set to begin Monday, but was delayed after her attorney filed seven motions.

Some of those motions were to suppress statements, blood tests, and evidence from the crash scene.

In a 2006 accident, authorities say Mattox ran her car into a group of motorcycle riders, killing two people and extensively injuring two more.

Her new trial date has not been set.
