Ky trial moved
(2008-05-06)
(WOUB) - An eastern Kentucky judge has moved the
trial of a West Virginia man accused of killing a woman and her two
daughters to Johnson County.

WLEX-TV reports that the judge in the Carter County case against
Robert Drown of Kenova says Johnson County's courthouse has the
appropriate security for the trial, including a jail next door.

Drown has pleaded not guilty to murder, arson and rape charges.
The case involves the deaths of 31-year-old Jennifer Ison and her
daughters, who were 10 and 3. Their bodies were found a year ago
inside their burned-out mobile home.

Prosecutors wanted the case moved to Johnson or Floyd counties,
while Drown's lawyer wanted the trial to be held in Lexington or
Louisville.

The trial is scheduled to begin December 26th.
