Trial postponed for man accused of helping terrorists train in Burr Oak State Park
(WOUB) - The trial of a Columbus man accused of of helping train terrorists in Burr Oak State Park has been delayed six months.

The trial for Christopher Paul of Worthington was supposed to start in January 2009.

It has been delayed until July 2009 so his attorneys will have time to have evidence translated into English.

Paul was charged last year in connection to a plot to bomb European tourist resorts frequented by Americans and overseas military installations.

An indictment also accuses Paul of conducting hiking, camping and other training operations at the Burr Oak State park.

He's also accused of providing material support to terrorists and conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction.
