Colgate-Palmolive chemical spill
(2008-04-07)
(WOUB) - The state Environmental Protection Agency says Colgate-Palmolive has agreed to pay a fine of a little over fourteen thousand dollars because of a chemical spill at its Cambridge plant last August.

The EPA says an accidental sodium hydroxide and aluminum reaction caused a tanker truck's tank to rupture, and says the company is now complying with state hazardous waste laws.
