Heavy rains cause flooding on area roadways
(WOUB) - Heavy rains around the region are causing some minor flooding and shutting down several roadways.

In Vinton County, State Route 93 is closed near Hamden after an under-road drain collapsed.

Also in Vinton County, portions State Routes 328 and 349 are also closed.

Yesterday, Vinton County schools closed early because of high water on roads.

Elsewhere around the region, State Route 93 is closed in Eastern Hocking County near Maysville and in Morgan County, State Route 669 is shut down outside of Malta.

In Ross County, State Route 104 is shut down at Pennyroyal Road and State Route 124 in Pike County is closed just east of Idaho.

Also, in Pike County State Route 220 is shut down at River Road while in Scioto County, State Route 73 is closed near the Adams County line.
