Ohio superdelegates
(2008-03-18)
(WOUB) - Most of Ohio's superdelegates remain uncommitted in the Democratic race for the Whitehouse, despite a clear choice made by the state's primary voters.

Six of Ohio's seven Democratic congressional representatives, as well as U-S Senator Sherrod Brown, are not backing either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton.

Brown says it's important to remain neutral a while longer, as a continued debate can only give the voters more information about the candidates.

And Sixth District Representative Charlie Wilson says he has gotten some direction from his constituents who orverwhelmingly favored Hillary Clinton in the primary.

But Wilson says he will be glad when a nominee is eventually selected.

Ohio has 21 so-called superdelegates who can support either campaign.

Obama and Clinton are tied with four superdelegates apiece in Ohio.
