Winter Weather
(WOUB) - The freezing rain and snow continues today for Southeast Ohio, part of a winter storm that pounded most of Ohio all day Friday - will continue Saturday.

Ohio University cancelled classes on its Lancaster, Eastern and Chillicothe campuses.

Hocking College also canceled all activities.

Most of Central Ohio is under a Blizzard Warning while much of the rest of the state is under a winter storm warning.

Hocking, Perry Muskingum and Vinton counties are under a level 3 snow emergency, meaning that only emergency vehicles are allowed on the roads.

Many counties in Southeast Ohio are under a Level two snow emergency, including Athens and Morgan county, meaning roads are hazardous and only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be on the roads.

As much as 14 inches of snow fell overnight around ohio and will continue this morning.

Much of the rain has moved over to snow and 1 to 3 inches is expected in Southeast Ohio.
