Bebb changes plea, will undergo mental health evaluation
(WOUB) - Accused killer Jonathan Bebb of Athens will undergo a mental health evaluation.

Athens County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Ward ordered the evaluation during a hearing Thursday.

Bebb had just changed his plea from not guilty to not guilty by reason of insanity.

He's charged with the stabbing death of his father, Phillip Bebb, last fall.

Prosecutor David Warren says a psychologist from the Shawnee Forensic Center will make a determination about Jonathan Bebb's mental condition.

Also, Bebb's attorneys are asking Judge Ward to move the trial to another city because of all the news reports about the case.

But Warren says there will be no decision about that until jury selection is started.
