PACCAR Center gets money for projects
(2008-02-20)
(WOUB) - New money for the PACCAR Medical Education Center in Chillicothe!

State and federal funds totaling $1.1 million were announced yesterday by Congressman Zack Space.

Governor Ted Strickland joined in on the announcement.

The new funding will be used for the purchase of training equipment at the PACCAR Center, where construction is already underway at the Adena Regional Medical Center.

Some of the new money will also be used to train up to 80 students per year to get nursing degrees.

PACCAR is being built to offer nursing and other medical and healthcare education in the region.

The $15 million facility is expected to be completed before the end of the year.
