Criminal cases handled by arrested Zanesville police officers in flux
(WOUB) - Two convicted crack dealers want to take
back their guilty pleas in light of the drug charges against three Zanesville police officers.

Lawyers for Jeremy Johnson and Joseph Dillon say the men would have pleaded not guilty and faced trials had they known the FBI was investigating the officers involved in their cases.

An attorney for Johnson says the case against his client revolves around the credibility of the police officers.

Zanesville officers Sean Beck and Trevor Fusner resigned after they were arrested in October on charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Officer Donald Peterson was charged in a separate drug case in December.
