Holtel Resigns
(WOUB) - The Chairman of the Hocking College Board of Trustees has resigned.

According to a news release from Hocking College, Holtel resigned due to personal reasons and changing priorities.

The resignation comes after the State Board of Pharmacy filed a complaint against the Nelsonville drug store owner in November.

Holtel is accused of illegally filling hundreds of orders for prescription drugs over the internet - which he denies.

The news of Holtel's resignation also comes during a time when the college is the target of a government investigation into the use of college funds.

Holtel has been a Hocking College trustee since 2004 and was serving his second year as chairman.
