New Year's stabbing suspect captured
(WOUB) - A Meigs County man is facing attempted murder charges after a New Year's Day stabbing in Pomeroy.

Police say 47-year-old Michael Burns of Pomeroy broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend 33-year old Lisa Gray and stabbed Gray along with her friend, 23-year-old Raymond Klein.

Burns was taken into custody Tuesday night and charged with attempted murder and aggravated burglary.

Gray was treated for her injuries and released from the hospital, and Klein is still in serious but stable condition at a Huntington hospital.
