New Athens teacher contract
(WOUB) - The Athens City Schools Board tonight is expected to approve a new contract with district teachers.

Superintendent Carl Martin says the Athens Education Association already has approved the agreement.

It's a three year deal.

In year one, the teachers would get a base salary raise of four percent.

In year two -- three-and-a-half percent.

And three percent in year three.

Martin says otherwise there's not much change to the contract.
