Stabbing case bound over
(2007-11-28)
(WOUB) - A Grove City man is being held on a $50,000 bond for allegedly stabbing an Ohio University student earlier this month after an argument.

Derrick Eastwood's case was bound over to the Athens County Grand Jury Wednesday.

He's charged with felonious assualt.

Police say Eastwood was asked to leave a party, returned later with a knife and attacked Colin Czarnecki.

Czarnecki was treated and released from the hospital.

The fight happened the day Ohio State and Michigan played their annual football game.

Witnesses say the attack was caused in-part by the fact that Czarnecki was a Michigan fan and was wearing a Michigan shirt.
