Nelsonville better for business
(WOUB) - With the Nelsonville bypass in the works, business owners say the city's new Comprehensive and Economic plan will be implemented just in time.

Steve Cox is the President of the First National Bank in Nelsonville.

Cox says the Comprehensive and Economic Plan - now pending before City Council - should help more than just businesses.

Cox helped to draft the original plan in 2003, working alongside City Council Vice President Kevin Dotson.

Dotson says the basic idea behind the plan is pretty simple: organization.

The plan sets the focus for the city, beginning with cleaning up the community and making it more attractive.

Cox says if implemented correctly, the plan will make Nelsonville a more desirable place to live and do business.
