OU gets millions in grants
The first of the two grants from the National Science Foundation
will initiate a new collaboration with scientists in Germany and Argentina.
This will allow Ohio University researchers to continue studies that may allow scientists to develop smaller, faster and more powerful technologies and devices.
The second grant pays for more nanoscience work with the University of Florida, Oakland University and six institutions in Brazil and Chile.
O-U launched a nanoscience institute seven years ago and has received $13.7 million in funding.
