Borrower Outreach Day
(WOUB) - Home owners worried about foreclosure may want to head to Nelsonville tomorrow.

State and federal officials are having what's being called a "Borrower Outreach Day."

The number of home foreclosures is way up and this event is designed to help people who think they may be next.

State Treasurer Richard Cordray is going to attend the event and he'll be joined by, among others, Ohio Commerce Director Kimberly Kurz.

This Borrower Outreach Day is one of several being held around the state.

The number of foreclosures is expected to increase in the next two years as many adjustable rate mortgages with lower rates are reset to higher interest rates and higher monthly payments.

The event will be held at the Hocking College Student Center from two p-m to eight p-m.
