The Rolling Hills Local School District will try a new approach to alleviate its budget woes
(2007-08-16)
(WOUB) - The Rolling Hills Local School District will try a new approach to alleviate its budget woes.

The Board of Education voted unanimously Tuesday night to put an income tax levy on the ballot for the upcoming November elections.

The District has already made 1.8 million dollars in cuts to its budget.

Superintendent Gary Norris says this levy aims to raise money for Rolling Hills while helping to lower the tax burden on some residents in the District.

The District treasurer provided a forecast model at the Board of Education's meeting.

It shows no considerable change in finances for the next five years.
