Drug bust at Belpre motel
(WOUB) - Four men are facing charges in Washington County after a drug bust at Belpre motel Wednesday morning.

Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks says the arrests came after a confidential informant bought twenty escatsy pills from 21 year old Anthony Frank of Parkersburg in the Budget Lodge motel.

Frank is charged with trafficking ectsasy in the vincity of a school, a second degree felony.

Two other men in the room at the time of the sale, 31 year old Christopher Pippens of Snellville, Georiga and 23 year old Andre Hamlet of Belpre, are also charged for permitting drug abuse, a fifth degree felony.

Mincks says authorities also witnessed Frank travelling in and out of two different rooms.

In the second room, they found 31 year old David Morgan of Niagara Falls and a cooler filled with five and half pounds of marijuana.

Morgan was also charged with drug trafficking in the vincity of a school.

The drug busts were a joint investigation between the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force and the Major Crimes Task Force.
