Church replaces vandalized Martin Luther King sign
(2007-04-19)
(WOUB) - A church in southern Ohio has replaced a tribute to Martin Luther King that was vandalized last weekend.

Someone spray painted "K-K-K" on one of two signs on the road outside Zion Baptist Church in Chillicothe. The signs say, "Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Parkway: Making Dreams
Become Reality."

Reverend Troy Gray says he was upset by the vandalism. But he says people in the local community get along, for the most part, so he suspects it was the work of one person with nothing better to do.

The damaged sign has been taken down, and a new one with the same wording has been put up.
