Suspect ruled competent for trial in shooting of teen
(WOUB) - A man has been ruled competent for trial in a case accusing him of shooting a teen after she and her friends had been sneaking around outside his house in suburban Columbus.

Allen Davis' trial on five counts of felonious assault is scheduled for June Eleventh in Franklin County Common Pleas Court.

Authorities say the 40 year old Davis fired a rifle from his house at a carload of girls last August 22nd. The teens considered the house, which sits across from a cemetery in Worthington, to be spooky.

Rachel Barezinsky was shot in the head and shoulder and underwent weeks of recuperation at Ohio State University Medical Center.
