Woman faces third set of charges in stepdaughter's death
(WOUB) - A southeast Ohio woman is being charged for the third time in the 1996 death of her 4 year old stepdaughter.

41 year old Donna Conley is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow in Perry County on an involuntary manslaughter charge.

Conley was convicted in 2003 and served nearly two years of a 13 year sentence. A state appeals court freed her in June 2005 on her indictment.

A second set of charges were dismissed by a judge in September because prosecutors couldn't provide Conley's attorneys with a grand jury transcript.

Conley claims her stepdaughter died of brain injuries after falling down stairs at their home in Saltill. Authorities say the injuries the girl suffered are attributable to battery.
