Lawmakers work on bill to require vaccination against HPV
(WOUB) - West Virginia has the second-highest cervical cancer mortality rate in the nation and some lawmakers are trying to reduce that.

Kanawha County Delegate Bonnie Brown announced Tuesday that she's sponsoring a bill that would require all girls in the state entering the sixth grade to get vaccinated against the human papilloma virus.

The virus causes roughly three quarters of all cases of cervical cancer.
