Tillman Going Pro ATHENS, OH (WOUB) - Former Ohio Bobcat forward Jerome Tillman has agreed to terms to play professional basketball with Sha-Lon SUR Say-own of the French Pro A League.

Tillman earned a spot on the All-Mid-American Conference first team for the second time in 2008-2009.

Number 33 led the green and white with 17.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.

The Beavercreek, Ohio native is the 41st former Ohio player to sign a contract to play overseas and the third in the last two seasons.

He follows Bubba Walther who joined ZZ Leiden of the Dutch League and Leon Williams who joined the Turkish Basketball League as recent Bobcats to play overseas. © Copyright 2012, WOUB
