Ohio University Assisant Softball Coach Fired ATHENS, OHIO (WOUB) - An Ohio University Assistant Softball Coach has been fired after being involved in two separate car crashes over the weekend where alcohol may have played a part.

Police say Ashley Moore hit a parked car, drove off and minutes later hit another car head-on.

The Ohio Athletic Department sent out an e-mail yesterday saying Moore is no longer employed at the university.

The e-mail says the termination was finalized yesterday but was initiated prior to the accidents.

Moore was named assistant coach in September, 2008.
