Stimulus money for water project in Athens
Most of the projects are also getting low or no interest loans, and all of the money is going through the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
The award is $800,000 for the City of Athens for a pump station and water lines.
Others are getting larger sums - in the millions.
Those include Zanesville, Cumberland, Dresden, Middleport and Portsmouth.
Other towns just announced for funding include Coal Grove, Roseville and Bellaire.

More federal stimulus funds are being sent to Southeast Ohio for water quality improvement projects, including one in Athens.
