Money coming for bypass LAWRENCE COUNTY, OH (WOUB) - The Ohio Department of Transportation will invest three million dollars of new money into a Lawrence County project.

It will go toward detailed design work on the State Route 7 Chesapeake Bypass.

The adjustments is said to "help ease congestion and spur economic development in Southern Ohio."

The project was recommended by the Transportation Review Advisory Council.

Also recommended - four million dollars more for right of way purchases for the Portsmouth Bypass.
