Wilson will vote yes on health care ATHENS, OH (WOUB) - Charlie Wilson makes it official - yes, he will vote for the health care bill.

The Southeast Ohio congressman said today that new deficit reduction information about the bill puts him firmly in the "yes" column.

"This bill is not perfect," he says "but it is a strong step forward."

And he thinks voters in the Sixth Congressional District will recognize that and support him in his bid for re-election..

As far as the abortion controversy goes, Wilson says he was concerned about language in the Senate version of the bill...but points out that religious officials have concluded that no federal funds would be spent on abortion because of the health care reform bill. © Copyright 2012, WOUB
